”In today's society the word "trust" is not one that can be used lightly. Can you really trust anyone with your children; especially with their health? Well, when it comes to Dr. Omar Baker, the answer is YES! As a mother of three, I've had my share of experiences with pediatricians. There are the good ones, there are the bad ones, and then, there are the great ones, and Dr. Omar Baker is indeed, one of the great ones. What separates this doctor from the rest is his ability to treat each of his patients, not just as patients, but as one of his own children. He spends time with you and your child and helps you to understand your child's individual condition. He listens to and answers all of your questions. His entire staff, from the nurses who greet you when you check in, to the nurses who give your child stickers and high fives when your visit is over, are all friendly and courteous. When my daughter, who at the time was six weeks old, was rushed into his office, it was Dr. Omar Baker who handled her health with quick life saving methods. He was assuring and patient. He is always there to assist me with my childrens health in any way and at any time. Now back to the word "trust". There are only but a few people I can trust with my three children. My mother, of course, is one of those people and I highly value her opinion. Dr. Assam Baker was her choice as a pediatrician for my brother and I when we were younger. I am one of many second generation patients who now bring their own children to Riverside Pediatrics. Dr. Omar Baker has literally taken the fear of doctors away from my five year old, and instead, he has replaced it with a trusting relationship. My son knows he can trust Dr. Omar Baker and asks for him by name. He carries my twenty four week old daughter in his arms and gently pats her on her head. He tells my two year old to take care of his baby sister and always wash his hands. He is trustworthy, patient, cooperative, caring, loving, and just plain wonderful! Who do I trust? I trust Dr. Omar Baker.”
